Wed 27 Jul 2016, 20:55 A valid point indeed, Helen. Maybe the ladies who use handkerchiefs these days have indeed upsized from the postage-stamp ones that I remember my granny using. However, I would suggest from its larger size that the item in question does appear to be designed for a robust snout, rather than being suitable for addressing a more delicate sniffle. |

Wed 27 Jul 2016, 19:39 I'm curious: what distinguishes a gentleman's handkerchief from a lady's one? Is a lady's handkerchief expected to be covered in flowers and flounces? I must be chosing my handkerchiefs wrongly.... |

Tue 26 Jul 2016, 22:03 Thus far, Liz, it would appear not. At least, not one with the initial F on his hanx who is prepared to admit to it. |

Thu 21 Jul 2016, 19:58 Found on the perimeter path round the wheat field next to Woody Lane. Gent's white handkerchief with the initial F embroidered in blue in one corner. If you've lost it and would like it back, contact us through the website. |
