Update: deadline for collection in Charlbury is the evening of Wednesday 15th June. The list of items being collected now includes rugs and blankets. Leave at the usual collection point, or phone 811378 or email charlburyrefugee@gmail.com

A local volunteer is driving to Calais on Weds June 22, She can take sleeping bags, roll mats and blankets for refugees in the camps at Calais and Dunkirk.

You may wonder why these items are still needed, but around 50 refugees arrive during each night at Calais. The situation is as dire as ever.

If you have any of these items you can spare, or can help buy them new, please phone 811378 or email charlburyrefugee@gmail.com . It is also possible to buy online for delivery to the camps: please ask for details.
