Helen, if all else fails, lay the tiles out in a large square on the patio. Buy two bottles of decent claret and have a night on the tiles.

We don't want to add to landfill - but after 2 unsuccessful attempts to give away 12 sq m of new unused, boxed cream colour ceramic tiles each 40x40cm on the adverts section, plus Gumtree & Freecycle, we are regrettably going to dump these tiles unless the forum can suggest what else I could do... Note, we did not purchase these, but inherited them at the back of a garage. Any suggestions for a local use?
