That's absolutely disgusting. Why would anyone think smashing up a bird box and killing chicks is a good way to spend your time? Maybe the two boys responsible should be made to rebuild the bird boxes they destroyed and be made to take responsibility for killing defenceless animals.

the criminal damage being done to Ticknel piece nature reserve and surrounding private property's is believed to be the work of 2 boys, believed to be the same 2 boys who smashed up the bird boxes killing chicks and eggs . Sadly Charlbury has the only nature reserve in Berkshire Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire (BBONT) not to have nesting boxes .If you have had any damage done to your property please contact the police if you have any information regarding the identity of the offenders please contact the police on 101 isn't it time to stop them before they escalate further.
