Further to my husband's post:we live on a well-trodden route up from the town along Enstone Road, Hundley Way and through the alley onto the Green, around the Green and onto Ditchley Road. From here people could be going to Jefferson's Piece, further up Ditchley Road or through onto Ticknell Piece. If anybody experienced any damage or disturbance on that route at about the same time, we would be interested to know. Thanks.

No, Jim, but friends visiting Charlbury on Saturday had their vehicle damaged presumably by a (speeding?) vehicle in Market Street - a completely unrelated incident.
Three vehicles were damaged. They were parked opposite the Friends' Meeting House and the damage occurred on Saturday between 11am and 1pm.
A grey Skoda Fabia and another car received dents and paint scuffs. My friends' car, an old dark blue Volvo estate, had the driver's wing mirror smashed clean off, as well as paint damage and scuffs. All three cars were clearly hit by a passing vehicle. It must have made quite a noise when the cars were driven into. If anyone heard or saw anything, please contact me via this site. Thank you.

Around 8PM last evening, our caravan, parked on The Green suffered damage to its window & a kick to the door leaving it dented. We heard a noise & went to inspect but saw nothing & nobody at the time, only spotting the damage in the daylight. Reported to Police. Did anyone else have any similar incidents last night around this time? I'd be interested to know if you did. Contact me through the message board or 01608 810620. Cheers
