Sat 8 Aug 2015, 00:33 Guy is everything a publican should be, and his son everything you expect of a pub chef. Dishes are cooked on site (increasingly rare in pubs these days). The ambience at the Plough is terrific too. We love it! |

Fri 7 Aug 2015, 16:37 Just wanted to post about how well we were treated by Guy at The Plough this lunchtime. We were held up getting there by the palaver over the blocked public footpath and arrived after his 2pm cut-off for food orders. We explained what had happened and said we only wanted sandwiches, which he agreed to provide. He said that as he still had a load of food orders to get out, we might have to wait for 45 mins/1 hour, but in the end our Prawn and Crayfish sandwiches arrived within 25 mins and they were fabulous...... |
