On a more serious note than my previous post, I am happy to announce that at this afternoon's council meeting, WODC agreed to an amendment I proposed. This states that there is a recognised need for a household waste recycling centre in the northern part of the district. Now that it is in the local plan I am hopeful that we might make some progress on getting something sorted.
