I have also been handed a key with very distinctive key ring ( sorry not the one with blue beads )I have contacted the police about it. I also agree if you loose your key change your locks regardless.

On Tuesday 21st oct I lost my house key. It is a normal key, the key holder is a tube covered in blue beads with cowries dangling from the bottom
