Thu 28 Sep 2006, 16:21 I am pleased to report that after consultation with the planning department, Charlbury CC have submitted a new planning proposal to enhance facilities at the club by extending the existing pavilion. We are hoping in due course to fully replace the existing pavilion but this will be done in two stages with the extension being built first out of similar materials to the existing pavilion. We are not changing the bar or club tea area in any way to the existing layout. The extension will house two new larger changing rooms, disabled toilet and a shower block. This will then allow us to cater for up to 4 teams on a weekend, all youth ages and a ladies team, scheduled to start next year. Plans are available for inspection at WODC and hopefully in the next few days on the Charlbury CC website (www.charlburycricketclub.co.uk). Please support the development of this new extension to ensure one of the best supported community clubs continues to thrive. We would be grateful if you could send a letter of support to the local council supporting the scheme. Thank you. |
