Charlbury Museum has some information on the Eeles family - but there were at least two families with that name living here in the early 1900s. I will email you, and you can let me know what info you already have, so we can narrow it down. Hope that's ok, Celia

Hello to you nice people of Charlbury, my family have lived in the Charlbury/Leafield area for many hundreds of years. They are a Saxon family that lived in Sumerset from 600ad to 1070ad and moved to Wiltshire. About 1170ad they moved to Oxfordshire. The Family is the Eeles Family. What I am looking for is any stories about the Eeles Family in the area also any images of the family.
