Stately Car Boot sale at Cornbury Park - fund-raising for the New Community Centre
On Sunday 11th May the CCCA will be running a stall at the second Cornbury Stately sale: the last sale was a splendid affair with hundreds of stalls selling a variety of marvellous things - antique teddy bears, Venetian vases, elegant lamp-stands, beautiful clothing,vintage jewellery, a veritable treasure-trove. This year we plan to join in by asking you all to turn out your attics and donate to us any thing you've been meaning to pass on but can't bear just to throw away - those lovely faded pictures, old musical instruments, Granny's china, even small bits of furniture.
A great chance to have a spring-clean clear-out and donate to a good cause at the same time!
The new Community Centre is nearly on the drawing board, and with the CCCA's assistance it looks like it can be funded without the need for residential development - please do what you can to help!
Drop off donations to Kate Smith (Bridge House, Dyers Hill, 811968), Diana Potten (9 Enstone Road, 810991) or Tanya Stephens (7 Lees Heights, 810216) - please ring first. (Can arrange to pick up bulky items this weekend if required - please call.)
