Thanks Harriet and Anthony for leading this walk on Saturday. It was good to walk some of the Saltway and to see Grim's Ditch, to get so close to Ditchley Park and to hear about Sir Henry Lees and the royals who have visited there. I am looking forward to the next walk on May 10th !

Harriett Baldwin and I will be leading a Cotswold Wardens walk next Saturday 5th April. The walk will go through the Wigwell Nature Reserve towards Taston. Then onto the Saltway to Ditchley. We have special permission from the Ditchley Foundation to go up to the House and then down the drive. Then back to Charlbury via Dustfield and the quarry. We will start from the Spendlove car park at 10 and it should take no more than 3 hours. There are no stiles or steep hills and the ground is not too wet now. If you want to join in just come along.
