Missing dog?

I saw a similar looking dog in church street on friday afternoon. It wasn't with anyone. Would've tried to catch it but I didn't have a spare lead and I had my own dog with me.

I saw a small black terrier size dog running across the field next to woody lane around 10.20 this morning. It was heading towards B Bont and the field opposite the school. It had a bright red collar/neckerchief. I was unable to catch it. No owner was in sight
