We have always used C&C Carpentry - they have installed our kitchen, built our wardrobes, redone our staircase, made and put up shelves and done all of the arcitraves and doors in our house. Infact, anything that is wood here, they have done. They can even build squash courts! They are local and do an excellent job. Chris's mobile is 07977 865089

You could always try Terry again. He built the benches in the Rose and Crown. Or he might know of someone who could help you.

OK, thanks for the advice on a painter and decorator, now how about any recommendations for someone that might be able to build us some bookshelves and storage cupboards in our study?
We have had a quote from John Lewis at nearly £5,000 - but feel that is way too high!
