Fri 16 Aug 2013, 17:25 You can check some safety aspects yourself. If you remove the cover you can see if the polystyrene-like material underneath is cracked or dented. If it is damaged at all you shouldn't use it. |

There is a very helpful lady in the Botley Road branch, who specialises in fixing/selling child car seats, and I am sure if you asked her nicely she would be willing to look at it for you. Maybe you could buy an extra torch or something in thanks! |

Thu 15 Aug 2013, 16:39 Does anyone know if you can have a second hand child car seat safety checked? Someone suggested that the fire brigade sometimes do this. Have emailed the County Council but no reply as yet - has anyone any suggestions? |
