Metal detector wanted to borrow

A scythe part (of steel) was lost on Blenheim Nature Reserve the other day
in the long grass. It is not readily visible, but a sweep with a metal
detector might be successful. About half and hour shouild cover the area
concerned. So, has anyone out there got one they are willing to lend or
use themselves for a quick search?
