Wendy and Edward - agreed. Carl has done jobs for me over 15 years in three different houses. Can't be faulted. I can only assume that any contrary opinion must be a case of mistaken identity.

I totally agree with your recommendation, Wendy. Carl Gorton is a great plumber - we first used him over 20 years ago, and in fact he is working here now! Not surprisingly, though, he is very much in demand.

Not urgent, and a small job for which I don't want to pay a fortune! The hot tap in my bathroom basin has started to drip. From experience I know these things only get worse if not seen to.
