They don't sound confused at all, but like they have an excellent idea of what they want to achieve in each case which is ideal for the people who are using them to sell/rent properties. All businesses do that kind of thing, you just don't generally get the opportunity to do a comparison.

So, would you go for change of use at the CO-OP if they said what they were saying about the rental house? No, of course not.
Would you rent the house if they said what they were saying about the CO-OP? No.
But based on what they have said, if you were just doing a quick scan as most people do, you'd think each property sounded ideal. And that's all they need as a good business.

And as publicity officer for the East district of the AONB we are on the edge of the Cotswolds, the boundary marker is on the Woodstock Rd. Chippy is not in the Cotswolds.

Chippy is on the edge of the Cotswolds, we are in it, geopolitically!

Tayler & Fletcher estate agents, January 2013: "It is locally well recognised that Charlbury has ceased to be a centre of Retail and Commercial activity in recent years"

Now: "The town has good local shopping facilities"

Then: "Charlbury is not a town, merely a 'Service Centre'"

Now: "Charlbury is a small market town on the edge of the Cotswolds"

Amazing how their description of the town changes so vividly between seeking planning permission for change of use at the old Co-op and seeking to rent out a house. I hope people selling or letting property in Charlbury will support our two local estate agents rather than this rather confused-sounding outfit from Chippy.
