Sun 27 Jan 2013, 22:17 We have just found our cat after almost a week. Calling his name walking up Browns Lane, we heard a distant, plaintive meow. Alex let us into the back garden of the Bull from where we could hear him more clearly in a neighbouring garden. He had got trapped under a garden chair - we think it had been tilted up on two legs to keep it aired, and had fallen on him when he tried to shelter under it! Thank you to Alex and to everyone whose back gardens we've just traipsed through chasing him back home, and most of all, to everyone in Charlbury who has looked out for him and phoned us with possible sightings of ginger cats. We've been really delighted by the help we've received. We now have to feed him up a bit... he's half the cat he used to be! |
