Sat 29 Sep 2012, 23:16 When I had to wait at the bank in Witney yesterday, and passed the time by looking at the local papers, I found lots of good news stories relating to Charlbury. Some of them have already been publicised on this website (e.g. about charlbury.info's tenth birthday, and the large sums raised by the Charlbury Beer Festival and the Charlbury School Association for essential renovation work at Charlbury Primary School) - but here's one great Charlbury-related story that was new to me: www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/9951095.SpecialEffect_charity_gets_a___5k_boost/ Well done Special Effect! |
