I'm sure lots of people have enjoyed the summer holidays, and some may have even been abroad.

So just a brief public information item about illegal immigrants.

On emptying my luggage I recently came across a rather evil looking Spanish bush cricket, happily tucked into a t-shirt.

Whilst perfectly happy living in his native southern Spain he is probably not the most useful pest for our gardens and homes.

Last year I had a nest of some rather funny moths hatch in a case. Whilst Spanish footballers have been a great asset to the beautiful game here in Britain, these fellas aren't.

So just check your luggage before it goes away from the winter or you could wake up one night with unwanted guest in the cupboard or attic.
