"Please close this topic" comments

A friendly reminder that one of the forum rules is:

"3. In particular, if you need to contact a site admin, use the dedicated link. Please don't try to bounce us publicly into doing what you want - we're all volunteers."

(The "Contact an admin" link, to which it refers, is on the left.)

If there are any more of these public "close this topic asap" postings I'm afraid I'll need to be a bit less friendly and suspend the account. Sorry, but it's hugely unfair to our volunteer site admins to publicly try and pressurise them into doing something. Please just send a message in private instead if you have concerns about a particular thread.
