We were not having a go at you but this subject has gone off to many times on here and the same person keeps banging on about speed but its not the right time to bring it up at this current time.

It was not my intention to home in on one particular event.
The main thrust of my argument was the poor driving and speed of Oxfordshire drivers throughout our area.
My argument has been unfortunately "diverted" to the recent event in Finstock and the fact that many other drivers in our area have been maimed and killed over the past ten years or so has been totally ignored.
I'm glad that some contributors have expressed an opinion but I hope that there will be many more and that this time they will concentrate on the important issue of reducing deaths by careless driving on our roads.
