Tue 1 May 2012, 10:08 VAT isn't chargeable on 'normal' postage, even franked mail. Only when you access next day guaranteed by 9am Special DElivery is VAT levied, because it is considered to be a couriered service - which mdoes attract VAT. |

Mon 30 Apr 2012, 16:52 Tim sells some excellent cards from local artists. I think I'd get divorced if I bought my lovely wife a 29p birthday card from Card Factory. |

Mon 30 Apr 2012, 16:28 £2 for a card!....at Card Factory you can get individual cards for 29p each, or 5 for a £1. Cards are generally one of the biggest rip offs anyway |

Mon 30 Apr 2012, 11:04 Some entrepreneur with a franking machine ought to offer franking rates to the village....44p 1st class rather than 60p. Adding a penny or two to cover costs like ink & re-crediting maybe still makes a 10p saving! |
