We got a very good view from 9 Acres playing field of them doing their figure of 8 passover.

Jean, it sounds fab. We're going tomorrow. We very much enjoyed the 'fly past' this afternoon.

For those who have not enjoyed the Rally Show today - go tomorrow. Excellent value and some wonderful driving by top rally drivers and a stunt man driiving his car standing on the roof, a must see. Good facilities, fundraising for SeeSaw raised a lot of money, a very good day out for ALL the family with entertainment for children -young and old.

Ahh but nothing for a technophile can match the sound of the two stage supercharger on a Rolls Royce Merlin. Engineering audio beauty. How could anyone object?

Low-level flypast of elderly planes!

Isn't that going to be a bit err...noisy? So are we going to have a last-minute injunction nailed to the Spitfire's wings?

The on-line timetable of the event says it goes over Cornbury at 15.15. www.therallyshow.org/timetable.php.

The intended 'target' is Cornbury, The Rally Show! www.therallyshow.org/news-battleofbritain.php

I've just realised: I suppose the "3 NM RADIUS" refers to 3 Nautical Miles", so I suppose that would NOT include Blenheim.

I was sent this "flight plan" by a friend who knows about such things, and thought I should re-post it here in case anyone else is interested - I know I am! I wonder if Blenheim, rather than Cornbury, is the 'target'?

Note that we are now on BST so 14:00 UTC is 3pm BST.
Cornbury Park seems to be the 'target'.
