Sat 29 Mar, 09:44 Good luck to lovely Helen and Hugh today. We miss you lots already, your support, delicious produce and friendship has been so helpful starting all my Charlbury-based endeavours (and we miss the delicious Billy’s Eggs!). Wishing you both a more relaxed pace of life! xxx |

Fri 28 Mar, 20:21 (last edited on Fri 28 Mar, 20:25) Stephen's right - you don't have to go far to source great eggs. Your very own Deli & Cafe has been stocking Mayfield eggs (and Cacklesomething - I was never good on names!) for years. Call in for the best coffee in town too - or a glass of wine even. More on that anon... And an expanding range of fresh produce as well as all sorts of things for Easter... Oh goodness, we're back to chocolate. Though sorry to see Church Lane Produce leaving the stage. |

Fri 28 Mar, 10:12 I also miss those reliable potatoes from Combe, and have been wondering if there is a way of buying them directly or from another outlet. |

Thu 27 Mar, 17:15 (last edited on Thu 27 Mar, 17:16) Thank-you Hannen, Michael and Michele, and for all of the lovely messages we have received. Re Saturday, parking may indeed be tricky, as it was if you came to shop with us - please be considerate of our neighbours! Re eggs, we highly recommend Billy's eggs from Stow (we sold them for a year or so) if you're over that way they have a small shop selling their own eggs, the most amazing ice cream from a local farm, and a few other bits and bobs, self service open 24 hours a day - their eggs are also available in local co-ops. We're not moving, just giving up the market garden. We miss you all too, but the lie-ins are lovely! |

Tue 25 Mar, 14:01 What are we going to do for really yummy eggs? No disrespect to your competitors around the area - but Saturdays just won't be the same without you |
