Enstone Rd crossroads & pedestrians (Roads)

It would be good to hear why these plans were delayed. The Enstone Crossroads is an ongoing safety concern, so I hope some form of traffic calming/pedestrian crossing will be implemented in the next 12 months.

It’s mentioned in the Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan which was drafted largely by Charlbury volunteers.

This is due to go out for consultation by the County Council (who are in charge of this process).  However, the Town Council in December asked for it to be delayed by nine months.  As three of the document’s drafters were town councillors at the time the work was done, the reasons for this delay are unclear.

Is anything being progressed or consultations planned to make crossing the road at the Enstone Rd crossroads less risky.
