Ali also got our mower fired up for this years work. Not able to sharpen it unfortunately.

For those who have seen the advert offering lawn mower servicing, I just wanted to add a little context. Ali is one of my husband's part time carers. Like all carers he works long hours providing compassionate and skilled care, put simply we couldn't do without him or his colleagues. He is from Pakistan, and in a previous life he was a mechanic. Working with engines is his real love, and once I discovered this, he has been an amazing support - mending our aga, anything electric, a colleagues motor bike, and even my mobile phone! And yes, my refusing-to-start lawn mower. However, life on a minimum wage is tough, so it was my suggestion that he advertise his skills on the website to earn a bit more in whatever spare hours he has. I can't recommend him enough - he is honest and kind and a mechanical whizz kid!
