Hi John. Happy to help... and I've got a lot to donate when you are ready.

I’ll help with this John.  Not saying I’m a total expert, mind.

I'll remember that, Sarah (thank you - I told you I was ignorant!) .. and, Hannen, you're right:  I thought people would read the post if I gave it a heading like that.

There are LPs for sale at 50p each in the Oliver Watney room - not many at the moment (and no Swingle Singers), but there will be more if & when someone heeds my plea and helps me sort them.

Please don't consign the Swingle Singers to recycling! Their a capella rendering of Bach and other composers is glorious listening, and very skilful. I'll have them....

From the headline I thought that this was some sort of dubious post, but having read it, I see that it is not.

Well done John!

We're getting a steady trickle of LPs etc donated to the Corner House (though, don't forget, we're having a temporary moratorium on accepting donations).

I'm pleased to say that I've found a company that will recycle old records, and we put a few for sale in the Oliver Watney room .. but I'm pretty ignorant about the whole area and would be glad of a more knowledgeable assistant.

Can you spare about an hour a month (that's all it would take) to sort through our vinyl donations?  Putting Andy Williams, the Swingle Singers etc aside for recycling; keeping classic rock & jazz and historic classical recordings for sale in the Corner House;  and looking for the occasional gem to make our fortune on Ebay?

Let me know if this would interest you.  07555 608780; john@pjohnp.me.uk
