That’s awful! There’s also someone throwing Carlsberg Special gold coloured tins over the wall on Hixet Wood and Bounty wrappers on Park Street. What goes in their head to think that this is acceptable behaviour is beyond me. And don’t even get me started on the dog poo bags that are regularly left in the nature 🤬.

It will work through the glass but you'll get a reflection off the window when the light in the room is on.

You want the camera outside, the motion detection probably won't work through window glass.

Thanks Helen! I will look into that. The camera will be positioned in an upstairs room behind a window., So I might be able to get the angle right. I think there’s a good chance!

I appreciate you and all the other messages I’ve received about this. It’s really good to know that people in the community care about each other’s problems. This kind of issue can be so depressing!

I have this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-Weatherproof-Ultra-High-Definition-TC65/dp/B0B5HKDKMP/ref=asc_df_B0B5HKDKMP?mcid=8c61619855df360c93803079f540d4b4&th=1&psc=1&hvocijid=7851472829276413732-B0B5HKDKMP-&hvexpln=74&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=696285193871&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7851472829276413732&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006631&hvtargid=pla-2281435178058&psc=1&gad_source=1

It connects wirelessly to your router, it has motion detection so it records only when there is movement. A power socket near the camera would be required. You put a memory card in the camera. and you can view the recordings via an app on your device. It even works at night. The only problem is that it is too sensitive for movement - careful positioning may be required.

Someone is regularly throwing litter over my wall into my garden! Can anybody out there help me catch this person or people?

Is anybody else having the same problem please?

About 3 to 4 times a week now, I find bottles crisp packets and all sorts of rubbish thrown over my wall. It’s quite close to the bus stop which could mean that it’s bus passengers doing this. Could I ask anybody if they have a teenager who takes the bus on Slade near Wychwood close Perhaps the school bus, to ask their children if they know anything about it? The offenders are keen on Dr Pepper, quavers energy drinks and pasties. They might also need some dietary advice.

Luckily you can buy quite cheap cameras nowadays, so I’m gonna be setting one up to identify the culprits. I’ll get a picture up of them in the act I hope… Perhaps on a community Facebook page?!

Anyway I asked the good people of Charlbury to keep their eyes open to stop this horrible antisocial behaviour.

Thank you to you all!
