On Saturday, January 4, Sunday 5, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January Chiltern Railways has warned that passengers travelling between Marylebone and Bicester Village or Bicester North and stations to Oxford or Birmingham should travel via Aylesbury Vale Parkway. This means a couple of changes, including a rail replacement bus when travelling to Oxford Parkway from London Marylebone.

This is because the railway between Gerrards Cross and Saunderton in Buckinghamshire will be closed all day with amended timetables in place. This will have a knock-on impact on Oxfordshire services with rail replacement buses operating, connecting with trains at Gerrards Cross, Princes Risborough, Bicester Village, Bicester North and Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

On Sunday, January 19 there will be track works at Oxford, Banbury, Leamington Spa and Small Heath, and Birmingham. The railway will be closed between Bicester North and Banbury, and Birmingham Moor Street, as well as between Leamington Spa and Stratford-Upon-Avon all day.

The railway will also be closed between Oxford Parkway and Oxford until 3.15pm.
