Definitely the wind as I stood up half a dozen not an hour before you Tim! Or there's some cheeky elves hiding behind the yew tree?!

Thank you for your concern and for picking up some of the trees. It is very much appreciated. The pots are heavy but the bases rather narrow. They should really be re-potted. A challenge for next year. Meanwhile, lets hope for calm weather.

With a couple of others, I picked several up on the right hand side (walking towards the church) yesterday. I think the wind was catching them. They were very unstable and hard to keep standing so perhaps they need more weight at the base or bigger pots.

Just to say have stood up half a dozen trees looks like they have been pushed over and decorations scattered about, or as Heather points out that the wind may have been a factor regardless such a shame but if you sponsored a tree You may want to come and redress your trees
