Sun 8 Dec, 12:30 I have my prescriptions from Chippy sent to Averose here in town and it goes very smoothly. Dispensary at the Chippy Health Centre had a long queue when I was there the other day. Now I know why. If you live in Charlbury, I recommend having your prescriptions sent to our nice local pharmacy! |

Sun 8 Dec, 09:23 On 4 December Chipping Norton Pharmacy announced that it has closed with immediate effect. The pharmacy was located in the Chipping Norton Health Centre, but was separate from the Health Centre. See here: https://www.banburyguardian.co.uk/health/chipping-norton-pharmacy-announces-immediate-closure-after-11-years-of-business-4898428 CN Health Centre staff and the teams at both Topside and Boots pharmacies in Chippy are working hard at helping transfer around 3000 patients who have previously used CN Pharmacy for their repeat prescriptions. Patients can easily get transferred to their desired new pharmacy immediately by asking Chipping Norton Health Centre. They can either 1. Email the Health Centre at cnhc.reception@nhs.net requesting a transfer to your preferred new pharmacy. 2. Or….on your phone’s NHS APP – if you use it to request repeat prescriptions – fill in the ‘message box’ on the ‘reordering’ screen to request the change 3. Or…call in person to the CNHC reception desk. Patients are asked not to telephone CNHC Reception to do this as it will compete with appointments system. 4. Health Centre Patients who live outside Chippy (and who live more than 1 mile away from any other pharmacy) can ask to use the Health Centre's own Dispensary. 5. Both Boots and Topside Pharmacy can also put in a request from you to ‘nominate’ them as your preferred pharmacy – call in and ask. It is also possible to nominate a totally different pharmacy, including Averose in Charlbury, or one of the national ‘online delivery’ pharmacies. |
