Van broken into on The Slade in early hours

They were really so so good! ANPR cameras triggered two police units to the area, one found my damaged van after some proper investigative work at 3am when I woke to his flashlight around the property and hearing him outside, the other unit arrested three men in a getaway car with equipment to carry out break ins. I mean how brilliant!? They called me at 9am this morning to take a statement and returned for further questioning today.

Respect indeed! Really encouraging to read that our (often troubled) cops can still sometimes be seriously effective.   These news really need spreading, - far and wide.

Just coming here to report my van was broken into around 1am. I’m very happy to say the Police caught the culprits leaving Charlbury, amazing work by them. Apparently their vehicle flagged up on a local ANPR camera which alerted the police that they were in the area. Police confirmed they had travelled from the West Midlands and have been doing so the past few months to break into work vans. They’ll be interviewed today and potentially have a court date.
