Mon 25 Nov, 21:34 Thank you, John. The revised URL has solved my problem. I can now see the records. Before it was just various adverts. |

Mon 25 Nov, 20:32 Mike, please try this: https://www.johndoraconsulting.eu/assets/FreshWDLmaster.html ..but check the URL in the address bar; I found a few spurious characters after ".html" which, when deleted, gave the right web site. Christine, I tried to address the access to averages/ extremes / daily records in the 'new' website. Is that working for you now? |

Mon 25 Nov, 17:46 John, in your post your first link doesn't actually link to the location indicated in the URL when clicked on, but instead to a random graphic - you may want to amend your post or re-submit the link :-) The "FreshWDL" style display is so helpful and clear - thanks for providing the service! |

Mon 25 Nov, 14:12 John, Your new weather site works well on my PC, but the moving images and also the colours are too testing for the tiny screen on my android phone. I do hope the old web address will continue to operate alongside the new one and will continue to be updated, especially because I can only find the monthly, annual and all-time records on the old site (but perhaps I am missing something). Yes, it's nice to have a link to the Shipton flood water gauge, and also to the Met Office; but on my phone it's better to have separate apps or links for these. I see, by the way, that yesterday the gauge at Shipton reached its highest ever level at 3.43m. Water level is now considerably reduced, and is now back below the level at which properties get flooded. Flood warnings are still in place for Shipton, Milton and Ascott, however. |

Sun 24 Nov, 21:54 Thanks Christine. Really pleased to know that! Please note I will be using new web addresses: https://www.johndoraconsulting.eu/assets/FreshWDLmaster.html ; and https://www.johndoraconsulting.eu/assets/Charlbury_Weather.html The second one has a nice graphic and links to the River Evenlode gauge as run by the Environment Agency at Shipton. However I cannot claim responsibility for the Wunderground predictions tho' - these are part of the Weather Underground package... |

Sun 24 Nov, 21:41 (last edited on Sun 24 Nov, 21:45) Someone was asking if anyone has measured how much rain has fallen in the last couple of days. Here again is the link to John Dora's amazingly useful records for Wychwood Paddocks in Charlbury. Wind and temperature also https://www.johndoraconsulting.global/assets/FreshWDLmaster.html I also find his Wunderground weather prediction site far more accurate than the Met Office for Charlbury. This can accessed via the Wunderground app. Thank you, John. |
