That is brilliant, thanks to the bakers, organisers and volunteers.

In response to a recent post asking where the almond croissants had gone I am pleased to say they will be back on 21 December for the Christmas market in the Memorial Hall. The Missing Bean Bakery stall is run by volunteers and our profits go to support local organisations.

During the summer months we had a Saturday stall outside the Community Centre selling sourdough bread, croissants - plain, chocolate and almond stuffed, sausage rolls and other delicious pastries. The stall is organised and run by local volunteers.

Our profits, £635 each, have been shared between The Hedge Fund (hedgehog hospital), Cornerstone and Charlbury Refugee Action Group.

We hope to do the same again next summer, donating profits to local organisations. If you wish to nominate a local organisation please reply privately. Please get in touch if you would like to join the rota to help on occasional Saturday mornings in the summer.
