Thu 7 Nov, 12:35 Please check news for leaf-clearing parties already organised. And do please join in - with one of those parties - or get clearing near you with your neighbours. It doesn't take long and makes a big difference. |

Thu 7 Nov, 10:48 Good to hear! I hope no leaf blowers will be involved. The damage they do to insects hibernating/living in the leaves is horrible. Plus the noise and exhaust fumes. |

Wed 6 Nov, 12:50 Actually the Town Council has already started its leaf clearing. We did Dyers Hill, Hixet Wood and Wellington Cottages over the last 3 weekends and are planning to revisit them over the next few weeks. If you would like to volunteer to help your town councillors with this task we are planning to clear Enstone Crossroads, Dancers Hill and The Slade on Saturday 9th Nov at 09:30. Please just meet us at Enstone Crossroads suitably attired with gloves etc and bring along rakes and shovels if you can. |

Wed 6 Nov, 11:31 I would also say the path along the Enstone Road to the Co-op is also building up with leaves. I'm happy to go out there, and have done so on previous occasions, but it would be good if there were more volunteers. |

Wed 6 Nov, 10:23 Thanks Alex. Yes, the council is considering various strategies for dealing with leaves. The help of residents would be much appreciated. Leaflet to be circulated |

Sun 3 Nov, 18:18 (last edited on Sun 3 Nov, 18:19) Does the council have any plans to deal with the autumn leaves around the town?It is particularly leafy in the path by the tennis courts in Nine Acres. Getting quite slippery that's all. Dyers hill can also be. |
