Fri 25 Oct, 13:17 We have one which spontaneously shattered - installed over 10 years ago, so I contacted Velux and they asked me to give them the serial number, which I did. Turned out that it was part of a batch of several thousand defective ones. Then Velux (who could tell by the serial number that it was part of the defective batch) arranged for someone to come out within days to replace it, and it's fine now. No charge for labour or materials. So, it might be worth contacting Velux. |
