Thank you, Lynne.

I'm writing as someone who worked with you during what were probably the Deli's most difficult days. When the Deli was mired in debt, and you were fending off creditors.

You were the person who kept the Deli's presentation standards up. You were the person who stopped it from selling products no-one wanted to buy. You kept the rest of us from going off on personal flights of fantasy. And you'd never have allowed the Deli  to use an accounting standard as expensive as FRS105. If you'd known about it.

 Without you there'd be no Deli today.

That was true during our six years of working together. I'm sure it was true of the previous 24.

You'll be a tough act to follow

I would like to say thank you to all the shareholders and customers that sent cards,gifts and good wishes to me on my retirement. 

It has been a pleasure to work for the Deli for the last 30years.
