The Charlbury Exhibition Foundation has long given grants to Charlbury residents under the age of 25 to assist them with their education or apprenticeships.

For the last two years it was not able to award grants because it was carrying out an extensive programme of improvements to its main asset, the Old Grammar School, a listed building dating back to 1837. While much of the work in that programme has been completed, more remains to be done.

However, the charity is currently reviewing its policy for awarding grants this year and in future and it invites young people who meet the conditions governing its grants to apply.

The deadline for applications has been extended to:

                        31 OCTOBER 2024.
