Wed 25 Sep, 16:11 (last edited on Thu 26 Sep, 09:19) Liz, are the majority of B roads around Oxfordshire considered as bridleways by OCC and therefore maintained to that standard? |

Tue 24 Sep, 19:48 Presumably its also dangerous for any gas, electric or sewage pipes that might be undermined or exposed. |

Tue 24 Sep, 18:31 I agree with Reg, also dangerous for children, the partially sighted and pedestrians (especially in the dark)! |

Tue 24 Sep, 18:08 That hole in Crawborough has opened up several times since Gigaclear dug it up. I think it is hazardous for horses. |

Tue 24 Sep, 13:59 Isn’t crawborough an unadopted road much like Hundley Way and as such local highways see it as not their responsibility? |

Mon 23 Sep, 13:19 We have taken photos and filled the hole so the rainwater is not longer flowing down it and it is no longer a hazard. The problem is outside Stonehaven on LHS going down and apparently the hole has opened up several times since Gigaclear dug the trench there, there is a green pipe visible about 15-20cm down - is that the gigaclear conduit?? |

Mon 23 Sep, 13:01 I've sent you a message Liz. Probably not very helpful... |

Mon 23 Sep, 12:44 Laura if you could say exactly where it is on Crawborough that would help them find it. |

Mon 23 Sep, 12:05 This is both a warning and a plea for advice. I just went out and braved the weather for a quick shop. In Crawborough, there is a hole that is very worrying. This is not a pothole, but an opening into what looks like a very open space with a pipe running through it. Please watch your step walking in the lane, and I'd also be nervous about driving, as it looks like a very thin crust over a very big space. The advice sought is: how do I report this? I tried Fix my Street and was stumped. I can't seem to figure out how to submit a complaint though I think I left a lot of cone icons on the map of Crawborough in my attempt (in my defence, I'm not usually hopeless online but this defeated me). I think this may be a matter of urgency, as the space looks so empty beneath the hole, which at the moment is small but may not be for long. And stepping in it could be very dangerous indeed. |
