Books, and Free Stuff, at the Street Fair

Fri 20 Sep 2024, 09:35 (last edited on Fri 20 Sep 2024, 21:59) As well as our usual excellent bookstall in Church Street (everything 50p, three for £1) Charlbury Community Bookshop will be open tomorrow afternoon in the Corner House. Upstairs in the Morris Room (our Fiction bookroom, at the front of the building) there will be a large amount of printed ephemera - free, or for a donation! Catalogues, magazines, football match programmes, maps, newspapers, concert handbills, engraved bookplates, wartime public information leaflets .. all sorts .. from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Bring cash (preferred) or pay by card downstairs in Cornerstone .. and grab yourself some cheap books and a piece of history! |
