EE has told me it is fixed: it’s working where I am, but how’s the time to shout if you’re still having problems.

I have signal EE this morning! - how are others doing? Hope it has recovered for you?

After I'd logged an online form, EE rang back while I was out on a walk (otherwise I wouldn't have got the call), and spent ages just checking stuff and telling me that we are in a 'yellow zone' (i.e. dodgy signal) but that the nearest mast was indicating it was all fine. She could not seem to understand that something has changed, and that we have no signal where we used to have some. I'll give it a couple of days and then complain again.

The EE signal checker is here: https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker

It says there is a mobile signal problem in this area, and the map in any case shows that the signal is quite patchy.

It shows good 5g coverage for a lot (but not all) of Charlbury; excellent 4 G coverage for nearly all; no 3G coverage at all in Charlbury; also patches where there is no 2G coverage. The map has changed quite considerably since I last checked a few weeks ago.

I have recently found that I can't make any calls in parts of Witney and Oxford, and can't get a signal in the Community Centre in Charlbury.

I will be interested to see if anything has improved with the very recent upgrades by EE. I have put off upgrading my phone until the issues are sorted.

EE still out.  In my experience they tend to dismiss any reports of outages, but in any case I’ll dutifully report.

Have had a message saying it's fixed and to restart device, but still have no signal. I work outdoors, so WiFi calling is no good for me; the care home can't contact me if anything is urgently wrong with my mother.

My signal was back last night, but has gone again this morning. I'll try reporting to EE too and see what response I get...

I can recommend Gigaclear.  I changed to them this year.  Although I am in Chippy, its very good for rural areas.

Same here up at Walcot. I'm on the landline to Coop (who use EE) they say they have no record of any outage. Grr. ( to give their due at least the Coop answer a help line within minutes).

Still no signal with EE despite being told it’s fixed. Any better news for anyone? Thanks

Just to confirm Mark I'm not Matthew but Andrew Greenfield.

However, I agree that wifi-calling is a really useful way of overcoming a lost signal, so everyone should look to see if it's possible on their mobile phone and enable it if it is!

Agree with Matthew about wifi calling - if you can access it.

Oddly my phone coop mobile (which runs on EE) is currently showing 3 bars out of maximum 4 strength, which I don't think I've ever seen, so perhaps the repairs have improved the signal.

No EE signal here in Little Lees either; thank goodness for wifi calling and WhatApp which are both working well!

I have reported the fault and have received a text saying service should be back to normal  within 5 hours but ominously it also says 'further work may be needed over the next few days'.
