Fri 2 Aug, 22:48 Steve, I would be inclined to file a claim immediately--you can always cancel it if it turns up. Different Amazon drivers cover this area and the lack of the usual photo proof is suspicious. Sadly the press is full of examples of dishonest delivery persons working in the gig economy. |

Fri 2 Aug, 21:12 (last edited on Sat 3 Aug, 09:47) For the first time, I've had Amazon report they've delivered an order for me "in or close to the porch" and it's not there. They used to be very reliable, but recently the delivery driver has been dropping stuff in all sorts of places round the garden and which bear no resemblance to the claimed location. However, at least they've taken a photo. This time the delivery driver has not even taken a photo, and having looked round all the obvious and less obvious locations I'm stuck. |
