Thanks Richard. I have started the process, but they won't do anything until Tuesday. It seems they do this because things often turn up later.

Steve, I would be inclined to file a claim immediately--you can always cancel it if it turns up. Different Amazon drivers cover this area and the lack of the usual photo proof is suspicious. Sadly the press is full of examples of dishonest delivery persons working in the gig economy.

For the first time, I've had Amazon report they've delivered an order for me "in or close to the porch" and it's not there. They used to be very reliable, but recently the delivery driver has been dropping stuff in all sorts of places round the garden and which bear no resemblance to the claimed location. However, at least they've taken a photo. This time the delivery driver has not even taken a photo, and having looked round all the obvious and less obvious locations I'm stuck.

So has anybody seen a delivery for me address to 38 Ticknell Piece Road? It's a sewing machine, so it's not going to be a small package.

I assume with no photographic evidence of delivery I ought to be able to get my money back if the worst happens and it is not located.
