Any forthcoming roadworks viewable on one.network oxfordshire. Login and then select next 3 months to view what is coming up.

Or select Today for the Woodstock closures. Yes, these  end at 4 am.

As this is OCC's standard way of communicating roadworks and road closures, not sure why the link is not better known.

I think the road is shut until 4am Friday morning. Not sure about any other roadworks.

PS I thought they were closing the Woodstock Rd again around now for more roadworks? Is the current closure just today, for the NATO-ish summit?

It seems an awful lot of inconvenience for 1 day for many - not just us.

Driving via Enstone adds 3 minutes according to Google maps (from Hundley Way, at least).

We left Charlbury at 6.30 am this morning. The road was shut just before the turning to the A44. Driving via Enstone adds more than a few minutes onto the journey, and I feel not fair on local residents who have to commute for work or travel for personal reasons. The signs actually say local residents access only, but we and several other vehicles were denied access.

The arrangement before the event was that we would be able to get from Charlbury to Woodstock by driving up Enstone Rd to its junction with the A44, and that we could then drive into Woodstock. Buses would be diverted in a slightly different way.

But travelling between Woodstock and Charlbury, whether by car or bus, might well be slower than usual today, but still possible. The proposed car diversion would add a couple of minutes to the journey

Are you saying travelling by road  between Charlbury and Woodstock is now impossible? Because that's NOT what the tracked routes of buses is showing.
