Thu 4 Jul, 12:16 Polls are open to 10pm today. Unlikely in Charlbury, but if you are still in the queue when the polls close, don't move. You are still entitled to vote. Remember your voter ID! A full list can be found here: https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/voting-and-elections/voter-id/accepted-forms-photo-id "You can still use your photo ID if it's out of date, as long as it looks like you." "The name on your ID should be the same name you used to register to vote." It does not need to show your address. |

Wed 3 Jul, 23:24 Check it's in your bag/purse/wallet before you leave the house in the morning! Better still, do it now before you go to bed! And if you forgot to post your postal vote, you can hand it in at the polling station tomorrow instead. |

Wed 3 Jul, 17:01 Again, there does not seem to be very much publicity about this. This is the first general election in the UK that you will need to show a Voter ID when you go to the polling station. Drivers licence or passport are good examples.
