Wed 19 Jun, 09:08 My friend Clare and I started a Book Club a year or so ago - we had a great night at the Duke of Marlborough last night with some new members from Charlbury, Woodstock and Long Hanborough attending. We discussed Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus - which we had all enjoyed. We still have room for some new members. We meet once a month at the Duke of Marlborough to discuss the books and enjoy Tuesday Burger Night and a drink. It's informal, friendly and good fun. Whether you are a bookworm or only have time for a few pages at a time you are welcome to our book club. We read a wide variety of genres, modern and classic fiction, travelogue, non-fiction, biographies, poetry, Sci-Fi and are open to suggestions. Next month's meeting is on Tuesday 16 July at 7.30pm at the D of M and the book for this month is Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann.
