There will also be an act of commemoration to mark the 80th anniversary as part of the service at St Mary’s at 9:45am on 9th June. All most welcome as always.

What a brilliant idea and very moving

The bell ringers of Charlbury will ring on the anniverary of D-Day -  6:30 pm on Thursday 6th June.  This is an initative from the central council of church bell ringers (CCCBR) that all the bells of the land (or at least those that have the ringers) should ring at this time in memory of those that served on this day.
