Check for pigeon damage. Our established Wisteria had plenty of flower buds and for once was not caught by frost, but the pigeons stripped it.

Is there anyone out there who knows a thing or two about Wisterias? My 25 year old wisteria is ailing. This year it produced a paltry number of flowers and very few leaves. Half of it looks quite dead. It’s been wonderful in previous years. I’ve tried researching possible causes but so far haven’t found anything that is helpful. I’d be grateful for any advice. Thank you.
