I take the train to Oxford a couple of times a week, and haven't seen the ticket office open in the past month or so. I asked at the coffee stand how often the ticket office was now open, the response was: "Twice a month, randomly. I think a new person is being trained."

I received good service from the office yesterday Friday 24th May, as did several others in the queue. I didn't enquire if they were to open today Saturday.

According to the national rail website the ticket office is closed from Sunday 19th to Saturday 25th May
